Who was the big winner on the Biggest Loser finale last night? Keep reading for the winner, diet tips and our best exercises for maintaining your weight loss!

The Biggest Loser winner was John Rhode with a 220 pound weight loss! Congrats to John—we wish him the  best of luck on his continued journey. He pushed past 14 other competitors and gained $250,000 in prize money, but he knows that the hardest work lies ahead, as some people continue to lose weight or maintain while many simply just gain the weight back. It will be a challenge to maintain and reach his goals at home, away from the show, the trainers and the spotlight.

It’s difficult to lose weight to begin with, but if you have met your goals, we applaud you! There is no better time than now to begin your weight loss journey. You will feel healthier and have more energy, extend your life and feel accomplished. Winter may be a time when we cover up, but if you work on your weight loss goals now, you will feel all the better when the short Spring dresses and bathing suits start popping up in stores. Whether you’re in the gym or at home, working on your fitness goals will mean a better body by Spring!
